We understand that choosing cosmetic treatments is a personal decision and it's natural to have questions. Below you'll find answers to some of the questions we are most commonly asked. Treatments

  • Aesthetics by Cherie offers personalised consultations for Anti-Wrinkle Treatments, Hyperhidrosis Treatment (excessive sweating) & Masseter Treatment (jaw clenching & teeth grinding). Every treatment recommendation is tailored to your individual concerns and goals.

  • Every face is different. During your consultation, Cherie will assess your facial anatomy, discuss your concerns and recommend a personalised treatment plan designed to achieve balanced, natural-looking results.

  • Absolutely. Cherie's philosophy is to enhance your natural features, not change them. The aim is for you to look refreshed, rested and confident while maintaining your natural facial expressions.

  • The longevity of results varies from person to person depending on factors such as the treatment performed, muscle activity and individual metabolism. Cherie will discuss what you can realistically expect during your consultation.

  • Most clients describe treatment as causing only mild discomfort. Very fine needles are used and the procedure is generally quick and well tolerated.

Consultations

  • Your consultation is an opportunity to discuss your goals, medical history and any concerns you may have. Cherie will complete a facial assessment, explain suitable treatment options, discuss expected outcomes and answer all of your questions before you decide whether treatment is appropriate for you.

  • In many cases, treatment can be performed during the same appointment following your consultation, provided you are medically suitable and informed consent has been completed.

  • Yes. Every new client to Aesthetics by Cherie receives a comprehensive consultation. This ensures your medical history, previous treatments and current goals are fully understood before any treatment recommendations are made.

  • That's completely fine. There is never any pressure to proceed. Our priority is ensuring you feel informed, comfortable and confident in your decision.

Recovery & Results

  • Most clients return to their normal daily activities immediately after treatment. You may experience mild redness, swelling or small bumps at the treatment sites, which usually settle within a short period.

  • Results develop gradually over the days following treatment. Cherie will explain the expected timeframe based on your individual treatment plan.

  • Depending on your treatment and desired outcome, Cherie may recommend a review appointment to assess your results and determine whether any adjustments are appropriate.

  • Yes. Following your treatment, you'll receive personalised aftercare advice to help optimise your results and support a smooth recovery.

Safety

  • All consultations and treatments are personally performed by Cherie, an experienced Registered Nurse with more than 30 years of nursing experience and advanced training in cosmetic injectables.

  • When performed by an appropriately qualified and experienced healthcare professional following a thorough consultation, cosmetic injectable treatments have an established safety profile. As with any medical procedure, all treatments involve potential risks and possible side effects, which will be discussed with you before treatment.

  • Treatment may not be suitable for everyone. During your consultation, Cherie will review your medical history and determine whether treatment is appropriate for you. Cosmetic injectable treatments are generally not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

  • Aesthetics by Cherie uses premium, TGA-approved prescription products where clinically appropriate. Product selection is determined following your consultation and is based on your individual treatment needs.

  • Please let Cherie know about any medical conditions, allergies or medications during your consultation. This information is important in determining whether treatment is suitable for you.

Booking

  • Appointments can be booked online through our website or by contacting Aesthetics by Cherie directly by phone (0477 071 966) or by Booking Online

  • Consultation appointments generally take around 30 to 45 minutes, allowing plenty of time to discuss your goals and answer your questions.

  • If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, we kindly ask that you provide as much notice as possible. Please refer to our Cancellation Policy for further information.

  • Prior to your appointment, you'll be asked to complete a medical history and consent documentation. This helps ensure your treatment is both safe and appropriate.

  • Aesthetics by Cherie currently consults from her Beaumaris clinic by appointment.
